Lawn Disease Care
Merritt Lawn Maintenance is committed to getting the job done, especially when it comes to doing a complete renovation of your lawn. Ifit is to bad, we will kill off entire lawn and restart with Seed, Top soil, More Seed then Fertilizer then straw or Landscaping mat to make sure nothing runs off. Mowing/Trim/Blow
Most important thing is to make sure your blades are sharpe. Just like cutting hair, nobody wants it cut with dull scissors. Next is perfect blade hight, depending on what type if grass it is, determines what heoght to cut it on. Fescue 3.5-4.25" Bermuda 2.5"-3.5" - professionalism, efficiency and exceptional results.
Pruning Shrubs
Shrub pruning is of the most important things you can do for your shrubs, besides water. Not only does it allow new growth but allows us to shape them up and uniform. Core Aeration
Core aeration is very very important but you only have 2 gaps each year to do it. Once in the fall and one in the spring, but we do 98% of it in the fall. Core aeration plugs hole in the ground so we can throw alot of seed in the wholes along with fertilizer, and as long as the home owner does their part and eater water water it then you'll have one of the best yards on the block.
Leaf Removal
Believe it or not having a bunch of leaves on your grass will actually kill it because it will not allow Photosynthesis to happen. You always have to get them up every fall if not you'll be dealing with dead spots and they just look ugly! That's why we offer it because it is very important, because we need every element on the germination and growing process of seedling! If you decide to allow us to do this,only thing we ask is, please do not let them all fall and then want us to handle it. This is a multiple week process because they fall for months here in the south.
Mulch
We offer Dark Brown, Red, Chiokk, Double Shredded. Price depends on what type of mulch you want and how hard its gonna be to install based on your property. Price includes delivery AND Labor of putting out by hand, then raking it evenly, then bumping edges. Metal edging is available to prevent wash out!
Hardscape
We offer some Hardscape services which include from Pavers, Outdoor Fire Places, Beach Area's, River Rock, Retaining Walls and MORE! If we cant handle it, then one of our partners can help lead you in the correct direction.
Pine Needles
We use only Long Leaf Pine Needles unless other wise requested. We spread them evenly along all beds and areas that need them and we also throw extra on the edges so were able to roll and tuck them to really make them POP! Price varies between seasons because of distributor. We use only the best Pine Needles we can find. Price includes product and labor. If its local delievery is free, if we have to get them dropped off then there will be a delivery fee.
